It's World Immunisation Week from Friday 24 to Thursday 30 April 2026 and the theme is 'For every generation, vaccines work'.

This is an opportunity to highlight the power of immunisation and the critical role it plays in protecting people of all ages from vaccine-preventable diseases.

The theme recognises how vaccines have safely protected whānau and communities for generations – and how they continue to safeguard our future.
