Vaccinator survey - challenges and opportunities
Health professionals are being asked to provide insight into the main challenges they face in vaccinating babies and children in Aotearoa New Zealand as part of a new survey.
Titled Contemporary needs of vaccinators in Aotearoa New Zealand and the communities they serve, the survey will ask vaccinators about the changing needs in their role in response to the shifting needs of parents and whānau, what they think is currently working well when vaccinating children, as well as the main challenges they face.
The survey is anonymous, and will also ask vaccinators about further education opportunities they might be interested in.
A summary of the survey findings will be circulated to those who take part.
The survey is being circulated by the Immunisation Advisory Centre on behalf of researchers at the University of Auckland and University of Otago.
Who can participate in the survey: Vaccinators who work in a role where they vaccinate babies and/or children in New Zealand.
Duration of the survey: Around 10 minutes to complete online. Participants can enter the draw for one of five $50 vouchers.
