This course was a temporary pathway for eligible and interested provisionally authorised vaccinators to become fully authorised vaccinators.

People who have completed the course but have not completed the other requirements as outlined in the Immunisation Handbook Appendix 4 are encouraged to do this and apply to their local Medical Officer of Health for full vaccinator authorisation.

Nurses, pharmacists and midwives who are interested in becoming an authorised or pharmacist vaccinator are encouraged to enrol on a flexible learning VFC or two-day VFC.
