Registrations are now open for IMAC’s annual Professional Development days.

These events will be held in three locations – Auckland (5 May), Wellington (12 May) and Christchurch (14 May).

The Auckland event has the option of online attendance, in addition to in-person.

Professional Development days provide immunisation coordinators and other immunisation leaders with an opportunity to network while updating their knowledge on important developments in topics of national and international interest for vaccination practice in New Zealand. The programme allows for student engagement with lots of opportunities for questions.

Each day will run from 9am – 4pm, and a draft programme will be available in anupcoming IMAC e-newsletter. Registration is $150 (incl GST) for in-person attendance, and $65 for online attendance (available 5 May only).

• Health NZ NPHS update
• Travel vaccines 101
• Immunisation for special groups
• Dementia prevention and shingles vaccine
• Vaccine errors and key resources
• Cold chain management
