When registering, please choose carefully to ensure you can attend the practical workshop. Each course has a specific date and venue for this workshop.
The online course takes around six hours to complete. You should complete and pass the online assessment BEFORE attending the three hour face-to-face practical workshop.

Registration requirements:
You must be:
o A non-regulated healthcare worker (e.g., kaiāwhina, healthcare assistant, pharmacy technician) currently employed in a healthcare setting.
o Employed by an organisation that understands the role of the VHW and the support and supervision required.
o Able to complete the theory component and online assessment before attending the practical workshop.
o Committed to attending the practical workshop at the venue and on the date booked on registration.

o Influenza
o Tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough
o Human papillomavirus
o School-based vaccinations
At the end of the online course, complete the multiple-choice assessment. There are 30 questions, and you must get 24 correct to pass. You have 60 minutes to complete.
