Vaccinating Health Worker: Stage 1 Four vaccines

This six-hour course is designed specifically for authorised Vaccinating Health Workers: Stage 1 (two vaccines only), to complete education for all four vaccines and to update their knowledge.

Please note: You need to complete this VHW: Stage 1 course within two years from the date on your authorisation letter.

Registration requirements 

You must:  

• already be working in the health sector and 

• hold a letter of authorisation as a Vaccinating Health Worker: Stage 1 for two vaccines.

Assessment 

The assessment is a set of 30 multiple choice questions with 60 minutes to complete. 

 On successful completion, upload Vaccinating Health Worker: Stage 1 – Four Vaccine certificate to the online Health New Zealand Te whatu ora portal along with your updated CPR certificate.
