Second checker course

This 2-hour course will enable those working in a vaccination setting to complete specific checks of the vaccine preparation process when there is limited clinical staff onsite.

Registration requirements

You must:

• work in a vaccination setting.

Eligible roles include kaiāwhina, healthcare assistants, administration staff, pharmacy technicians or assistants.

Course content

• Basic principles
• National Immunisation Schedule vaccines
• COVID-19 vaccines
• Comirnaty 30mcg grey cap (12 years +) vaccines
• Comirnaty 10mcg blue cap (5-11 years) vaccine  

Assessment

The assessment is a set of 10 multiple choice questions with 20 minutes to complete.
