This 4-hour update course is for NZ Defence Force medics only. It will update immunisation knowledge, and review processes which underpin vaccinator best practice as outlined in the Immunisation Handbook and the NZDF resource: ‘Defence Health Policy Handbook: Vaccination.’

Registration requirements

You must:

• be a New Zealand Defence Force medic wishing to update your vaccinator status.
• It is only available for purchase if you have NZ Defence Force authorisation to do so.

• Current issues and developments in vaccination theory and practice

• Strategies for improving immunisation coverage

Assessment

The assessment is a set of 20 multiple choice questions with 40 minutes to complete.
