Course Completion Requirement: This course must be completed within 3 months of enrolment date.
The 1-hour course includes mpox and Jynneos vaccine information, Jynneos composition and safety profile, eligibility criteria, and practical steps storing, preparing and administering the vaccine.
This course is currently funded by Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora and is required for authorised vaccinators and recommended for everyone prescribing or administering the Jynneos vaccine.
You must:
Eligible roles include authorised or pharmacist vaccinators, registered nurses, enrolled nurses, paramedics, other health professionals with prescribing rights.
The assessment is a set of 10 multiple choice questions with 20 minutes to complete.
On completion, you can print out a certificate as evidence of learning.
