Overview

This 2-hour course provides a broad overview about immunisation and vaccines in New Zealand. It includes essential knowledge to assist in vaccination-related roles. On completion, you will be able to share knowledge to support conversations with individuals, caregivers, and whānau.

This course is open to anyone working within the New Zealand health workforce.

  • Vaccine development safety
  • Vaccination events across the lifespan
  • Access, equity and conversations
  • The cold chain
  • Vaccine administration

Assessment

The assessment is a set of 10 multiple choice questions with 20 minutes to complete.

On completion, you can print out a certificate as evidence of learning.
