Intradermal vaccination for Hep B non-responders course

This 1-hour course covers Hepatitis B vaccine for non-responders, the factors that contribute to non-response, testing processes, and the benefits of intradermal vaccination. Participants will learn the correct technique for administering intradermal vaccinations and how to assess the effectiveness of this administration.

Registration requirements

You must:

  • be an authorised vaccinator working in occupational health, travel or public health or in a general practice or sexual health clinic
  • hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate

Assessment

The assessment is a set of 10 multiple choice questions with 20 minutes to complete.  

Note: The Intradermal Vaccination Competency Assessment form in the Next steps module must also be completed as evidence of practical skills.
