Overview

The Immunisation Advisory Centre (IMAC) invites you to our annual New Zealand Symposium 2025 on Tuesday 4 March 2025 in Wellington.

Expanding on our usual influenza and COVID-19 topics, we are adding RSV, allowing a comprehensive look at protection against viral illnesses most prevalent during Aotearoa’s winter season.  

It’s also a great opportunity to catch up with your colleagues working in immunisation. We'd love to see you there, either in-person or online.  

When: Tuesday 4 March, 9am - 4pm

Where: Tiakiwai Conference Centre, National Library, Wellington

Symposium content  

This year’s topics will include:

• Influenza in the NZ context: patterns of disease and immunisation coverage

• Pandemic influenza

• International influenza vaccination strategies

• Utilising the COVID-19 pandemic experiences

• Update on the SHIVERS V project

• New frontiers: RSV vaccination for NZ adults

Attendance 

The symposium can be attended in person or viewed online via a live Zoom webinar.

This is the online registration option: $55 incl GST.

If you would prefer to attend in-person, then please click here to register for the in-person version of this event, which is $175 incl GST.

Payment options

Payment is by credit card only, select Add to cart.

Upon successful registration, a receipt will be emailed. If you are wanting to register and pay for more than one person at a time, each registration needs to be created individually.

After the Symposium

·       A certificate of attendance and recording of symposium will be available to download.  

·       A link to complete an evaluation survey will be emailed to collect your feedback.
