The Immunisation Advisory Centre (IMAC) invites you to our annual New Zealand Symposium 2025 on Tuesday 4 March 2025 in Wellington.
Expanding on our usual influenza and COVID-19 topics, we are adding RSV, allowing a comprehensive look at protection against viral illnesses most prevalent during Aotearoa’s winter season.
The Symposium will be of interest to practitioners and researchers from areas such as public health, occupational health, pharmacy and general practice.
It’s also a great opportunity to catch up with your colleagues working in immunisation. We'd love to see you there, either in-person or online.
When: Tuesday 4 March, 9am - 4pm
Where: Tiakiwai Conference Centre, National Library, Wellington
This year’s topics will include:
• Influenza in the NZ context: patterns of disease and immunisation coverage
• Pandemic influenza
• International influenza vaccination strategies
• Utilising the COVID-19 pandemic experiences
• Update on the SHIVERS V project
• New frontiers: RSV vaccination for NZ adults
A draft programme will be available shortly on the IMAC registration page.
