This 3-hour course covers the COVID-19 vaccines available in New Zealand, including safety, efficacy, eligibility, storage, preparation and administration.
Completion of this course is a prerequisite to administering COVID-19 vaccines.
You must be a health professional with a current annual practicing certificate or in the process of obtaining one.
Eligible roles include fully authorised or pharmacist vaccinators (including intern pharmacists); registered nurses, enrolled nurses and medical/nursing students working under prescription or standing orders; other regulated health professionals with prescribing rights.
The assessment is a set of 10 multiple choice questions with 20 minutes to complete.
You will have access to all course materials for 93 days from the date of registration. Your certificate of completion will remain available in you account after this date.
